6N2 horn not working.

Featured Replies

Hi all, horn on my 6N2 GTI isn't working :( Not sure why, can hear it clicking when pressing down at fuse box. I've changed 2 blown fuses (no.22 & no.47) but these haven't worked. I'm out of idea's tbh :( Anyone know what it could be?

Thanks.

The horn uses fuses 19(10amp) & fuse 47(10amp) there is also a relay behind the fusebox, if thats all OK then check the earth connections on the horns (between the front bumper and passenger inner wing)

Could also be that the horn/s have failed, just thinking about the blown fuses. Not a common fault but does happen, they can go short circuit (which blows the fuse) before failing all together.

If its anything like my last 2 gti horns then it might be full of crap, mine was just full of dirt because its in a nice place behind the bumper lol

Mine stopped working and i belted it with a hammer and all was fine!

^^same here
