hey guys, my renewal is the beggining of feb and by the looks of it its gonna be rediculous.

I'm gonna be swapping cars to a 1985 coupe, so i should be able to get classic car insurance on it?

does anyone know of any good sites where i can get a quote online and there relatively cheap?

I'm only 20 btw. I've heard for some of them you have to be 21

Classic insurance is more about you than the car, eg it usually needs to be a second car, limited mileage, garaged, no or few mods etc

oh really? hmm i guess it depends who i was to go with, a friend of mine was driving an old beetle daily on a classic policy so i suppose it can be done. would a 1984 coupe actually class as classic?

I'm getting quotes for 2700 for a mk2 coupe s on normal insurers with just alloys and lowering. crazy! thats with 1 years driving as a named driver. was getting quotes for under 2000 a few weeks ago!
