I turn 21 in March and I've heard I qualify for classic car insurance, but I've looked around and can't find for definite if I do? My car is a 1982 Polo Classic, any help much appreciated, cheers!

i believe alot of classics insurers require you to be 25, but footman james insure any age group and yes your car will be old enough, you have to call them, no online quotes for under 25s

I Tryed footman & James when I was 17 ! They qoutes me 650 third party , fire & theft on a fully kitted out 1380 mini with , full rebore , different cam , pistons , Rods , carb , cylinder head the works , loads of mods to engine & shell including lowered suspension , alloys , bucket seats the lot ! Really is Worth a try ! I'm considering trying insure a BMW e30 325 M sport with them in the coming months

No, footman James' policies have just changed. They used to insure 17 year olds if you rang up but they dont anymore.

As for classic insurance, I was 17 when I first got it. Currently 18, Not had renewal yet but currently paying just over a £1,000 on a 1995 1.4 6n.
