will probably fit, although someone on here would have to confirm. i thought the 5 speeds were all the same but i couldn't personally guarantee it.

Had a look and ETG box is defo GTI box.

Cannot see any problems with it fitting.

Will be in touch son as i have my box out so i can to come over compare side by side before buying.

Some muppet has put a DQW box on which i beleive is from a 1.4 8v!
