Peugeot 106 GTi

Featured Replies

Hi chaps, Writing this up, i really dont want to at all! I've only had it since 24th December 2011. The reason for sale is simple, I'm saving up for a deposit on a house with my girlfriend, both came to a decision that the 106 has to go if i am going to be serious about saving. The fuel consumption isnt too bad, i managed to get 365miles from tank which i think is fairly good.

Its a S2 106 GTi 1.6 16v, comes with cloth interior, 205 gti steering wheel (also have the original leather 106 GTi wheel), 50mm Gmax lowering springs and torsion to match at the back, 15 inch Team Dynamic Monza alloys with a good amount of tread left, Raceland stainless manifold, Full stainless 2" Pugsport group n exhaust, Spare rear bumper, battery cover etc.

The milage is 108k, had Piper 285 cams put in a 98k with new cambelt, has some history (mostly the case with cars like this)The overall condition of my 106 is ok, the bodywork could have some attention but apart from that its brilliant, pulls well in every gear, no knocks, no bangs, gearbox is smooth (no chrunches going in 1st-2nd gear). MOT til july 2012, TAX 29/02/12

Bad points:-- Front windscreen has 2 little chips, some idiot at some point decided to put window putty in the seal because they thought it was leaking. - Bonnet has a few tiny dents.- Front drivers wing has a scratch.- Passenger rear quarter has a tiny dent, can be pushed out.Overall its a brilliant car, just needs some TLC, i was intending on tracking it but i cant afford too really fast car, starts fist time everytime, lovely exhaust system. I'll miss it

Price:- offers around £950. May do a P/X for a vauxhall corsa B, 306 d-turbo Mk3 polo with money my way etc. something cheap to run, insure and tax.

the lad who had it before, though the windscreen was leaking so he slapped loads of sealant in it, it can be traken off and the windscreen doesnt leak.

and the wing, with the scratch on. the previous lad dropped a roof slab on it, isnt dented just scratched :(

Can't get to essex at the moment mate. I'm in South Wales, if you were interested in a swap i'd cover your petrol and you could drive it down and take back the polo

I've got a polo 6N I'm selling on as well if you did want a part ex?

£350 + the polo? see my ad in the Polo's section

Cheap as chips to run as you say mate. £270 a year (I'm 27 with only 2 years NCB) to insure and only 1.3l
