whats the best way and the best products to use in order to polish up rocker/engine covers, at the moment its all stained and laquar or heat shield is peeling. help?

Theres a polishing guide in the FAQ thats good, i can tell you how i do it but it may be the wrong way so i will not be held responsible for any shi t polished items ha.

Sand it all down one after the other with 320, 400, 600, 1200, 1500, 3000 grit sand paper.

Then buy some Auto sol from a motor factor (about £5) and polish.

It is time consuming but all worth it in the end so stick at it, don't do a half hearted effort and get bored along the way like i did. it should look something like this but better when complete though.
