Ahh I think the oversized hubcaps looks class! Want to do it on mine for winter.

Few bits an bobs done this week. Fog lights arrived and fitted them lastnight, fitted window switch as well

Waiting for gti splitter to arrive an arch kit then it's going to the body shop to get them fitted. Pics to come

Thanks mate. Ino the windows were too much after awhile. Happy medium now as you said:) its going to bodyshop next week hopefully to get the arches done. Can't wait to get it finished!

I ran the poke for about a year then ended up in court over it in November there. Bad times.

Never liked 13s on these cars, at some angles this car pulls it off, but i couldnt drive that low dailey, I've already smashed up my exhaust without even smelling speed bumps, i can only imagine how painful it is to drive this!

Are you going to spray up the wheels clean or leave them like that?

Edit: also, you need camber on the rear, i did mine today.. piece of piss.

Take the wheel off, Take the drum off, take the hub off, wack a washer or two on the bottom two bolts between the hub and axle, put hub back on.. Boom. Camber. (that or buy shitty £20 plastic camber shims)

Ino man it is a bit of a headache being this low. Catches cats eyes changing lanes I've had to put a new flexi, two bottom arms and an arb bracket onto it:D

I'm debating about the wheels, I like them with a bit of rust on them as they are just steels really. I've painted them twice before but they always rust in the same place around the weld. Just gave up then:P

I'd looked at doing camber originally with the shims but heard they are a waste of money an this washer banter seems to be the preferred way! How easy is the hub to get off?

Got car back from bodyshop today and holy good shit it's wide:D £280 for this work an it's going to get painted hopefully next week:D personally I think it looks amazing an I owe big thanks to dean for doing it in a week! Well I suppose I'll let the pics do the talking. Comments and criticism welcom:)

These are the arches I bought off eBay. I only used two so if anyone is interested in the other two gimmie a shout:)

This is the first photo I was sent and I was told I would need spacers. I wasn't to keen on running spacers on the rear but ho well

I was then sent this photo the next day...and told I didn't need apacers!

Went to pick the car up tonight an I was like a kid on Christmas day waiting for his presents:D

Front wheels go on tomorrow an car needs a clean! But I'm so chuffed with the car. It's so ridiculous its unreal:D
