(Sorry for the bad pics!). She is powered by the SPI 1043cc coupled with a 4 speed box. At the moment she is my daily, although as with every car I own I'm going to improve her slightly.

I have got some 14" RZ's, 40mm lowering kit and a 1600AEE which will recieve a AEA SPI inlet to keep her SPI for simpleness as I will run her on the 1043cc wiring with the 1272cc ecu and Golf mk3 1.8 SPI carb. I'm also keeping her 4 speed, to save weight and money  . The flywheel is going to be skimmed, the cat will be deleated and a G40 system will be fitted with a backbox tip 'tuck'. I'm aming for a sporty drive with plenty of torque yet ease of revs when needed. The car will also go on a basic diet, rear wiper removal is first.

Some of my other Dub's

My Mk3 Golf SE 1.9D, Standard fitted GTi kit, fitted with highline leathers, -60mm lowering kit, E30 BMW RZ's, Frenched Hellas, Soon to be 1Z TDi with Landrover injection pump.

The Mk2 Golfs look well!

What are your plans for the Polo? Similar?

Many thanks Mike. I tend to stay OEM+, although I add my own little touches to them. A simple 1600 SPI setup will do just fine, no OTT lowering and expensive wheels as its my daily.

It needs a good cleaning session, probably going to take place in the next week or so. Mike.

Small update.

Some work has been carried out. 14" BBS RZ alloys have been fitted with new tyres. -40mm lowering kit has been sourced ready to fit. Rear boot plinth has been colourcoded. Car has recieved a full polish and wax. Exhaust tip has been deleated (Not in pics).

The interior has been changed for some Genesis seats and clocks with rev counter (Pics to follow).

Tomorrow's jobs will involve removal of the rear wiper (as it does not work) and more cleaning. I'm still sourcing some parts for the AEE conversion, nearly there!

Quite a collection there, would like to see the BM.

Hooray for RZs

I am jealous of your centre caps though.

40mm drop will look smart!
