I owned d220vph too. I bought it off mclovin back in september 14 now down south i belive, cornwall.

I was told recently it's now been painted badly in some gay colour. No idea how true that is

Yes sadly d220vph is now a shite halfords purple color. Ruined :(such an unusual car i regret selling it like nothing else on earth!

Finally.

My first post on the forum and adding one more comet blue car to the register (is there a total number known so far?)

Reg number on my car is A129 WEP... its an 84 non S 4 speed 1272cc

I bought it just before Christmas, it had been off the road for 15 years til last April (16) but was nailed back together and mot'd but couldn't be made to run right & was about to be broken for spares when i rescued it.... Its since had a service, all new ignition bits, new tank etc etc.

Im currently looking for a weber carb to put on it. 

Its pretty much totally original bar some tarantula rims. 

Plans are a modest drop in ride height and a 5 speed box

I'm in the Wells/glastonbury area of Somerset and passed another comet blue coupe with a roof rack near Street.... Anybody off here? 

This the same car?
