Yeh stuff engine mods of a straight diesel keep it clean with fresh oil,filters and water mate mke sure it's running sweet and get them mods done :)

Ok, So i thought id keep the build thread thing going, and post up some updates.

Loads of little bits been done since i did that first lot of pictures:

Main thing is i sorted out the front end with a nice new black badge and a set of clear side repeaters.

I bought some front fogs, and fitted them with a nice fresh loom. Took me a while to do, as i wanted it to look sort of standard. You cant see the loom from under the bonnet and they run from a separate switch that i put on one of the blanks on the dash so it doesn't stand out.

Also added some Red side lights :) "chavy" but i like the look so sod it!

Round back I've tinted my rear lights to all reds, and added some more stickers. I also bought a new number plate with reduced lettering size and no random writing at the bottom (i hate all the extra crap on them) like to keep it looking clean and fresh, and so i stuck if on with double sided tape rather then screwing it on. .. its the little things! :)

I've also added some "aero Wipers" and given it a good degreasing under the bonnet.

Got an Amp and Sub fitted in the back, the sub i put onto the seat backing and the amp is just strapped in so i can take it out if i need to fill the van up!

And finally, i got my hands on a Raid 280mm Steering wheel for a cheeky £40!

Thats all the updates for now, more up as and when it happens! Still trying to get the cash together for an axle flip etc...

Are they stock VW front fogs? Mine are big square ones and I'm not that keen on them, rather have the small round style ones!

The square ones are the OEM ones better, so yours will be better quality.

Mine are pattern ones. Off of E-bay. They were cheap though and i like the look of em :)

fronts look standard and the backs look like 8J's maybe?

little update, had some body work done. Both the rear arches were starting to show a little rust on the inside, and the roof (top front bit) had a dash of rust too.

So the arches have been cut back, smoothed and given a fresh lick of paint.

The roof too, and while i was at it, i smoothed ober the ariel hole too! As (i love my tunes!! But..) i never listen to the radio...

Turning circle of a bus!

Uprated my brakes.

Was one HELL of a job. I was fed up with the brakes feeling like wood. And the MOT is due next month so i thought id get them sorted! When i started i was just gonna do discs and pads. But that soon turned into a complete overhaul of the whole lot.

Its had:

New master cylinder

New Slave cylinders

new drilled discs

new pads

new rear brake shoes

new spring and adjusters etc (all inside on rear drums brand new)

New brake pipes.

New handbrake cables

In fact the ONLY parts of the brake system i didnt change were the front hoses and the drums themselfs. But I'm on the hunt for some braided hoses at the moment so that will soon change :)

Also had my calipers cleaned up and painted. (was meant to be red but looks orange,lol)
