Due to me losing my storage unit and having other cars/projects my golf is getting no use at all and It’s a waste being sat doing nothing.

Engine + running Gear

1.8 KR 16v – block has 199k with FULL service history from donor car which I owned for years. Before fitting the engine to this golf i did the following:

New oil pump

New water pump,

Head gasket replaced with triple layer Steel ABF one

Block decked

Head skimmed 40tho for increased compression

Head fully rebuilt with new inlet and exhaust valves and guides, triple cut and re seated

Lightly ported and polished inlet ports, port matched exhaust manifold and exhaust ports

Polished components and 42mm early 16v Inlet manifold.

Black Diamond clutch

Custom air intake using Passat 16v induction pipe fitted into stock 16v air box

New front callipers , 256mm brembo discs with Ferodo DS pads

New MK3 Golf rear callipers with Mintex Pads

Front wheel bearings replaced

New hand brake cables all round

New Brake bias adjuster

New Bushes all round inc Sub frame, lower arms, wishbones

New track rods

Bodywork

painted in one off Royal blue metallic paint.

Genuine G60 Arches all round

Smoothed and colour coded bumpers

Single headlight grill with red pin stripe detailing

Bonrath Single wiper conversion

Flush boot plinth with auto boot popper

Lay flat rear wiper - Deleted now but will supply wiper.

Colour coded spoiler

Crystal headlights, side repeaters all blue Hella rears - have M3 or original Hella to.

Smoked front indicators

Interior

Full factory leather including seats & door cards.

Vortex Centre consol with 3x VDU gauges for water temp, voltage and oil pressure – not currently wired but I may get a chance to do this.

Custom white dial kit inc VDU gauges

Custom MK2 specific floor mats

Carbon detailing on dash buttons and gear shift surround

custom 1 off Ally pedal set

BAD BITS

Headlining is currently out of the car but is in fine condition with no sagging/holes

the tops of the bumpers have been scuffed - look closely in the pictures.

Front passenger wing has a dent in it which also broke the paint - il take a close up picture asap

Front drivers wing slightly different shade of blue

VDO guages aren't currently hooked up but the wiring is in place an i have a twin pole oil pressure switch ready to fit

drivers seat stitching has started to split - It is NOT torn so can be sewed up

obviously the seats, lower dash etc are all back in the car now

not recent pictures but this is what they look like in the car. I will take a close up of the seam on the top of the drivers seat which the thread as come undone ( the seem nearest the top of the seat belt in the pic).

There are no holes in the leather although the drivers bolster is thinner than the rest.

Also note, since the picture was taken the car also has a mk3 golf Highline leather handbrake cover an handbrake lever

This weekend will get new pics of it on the solitudes and close ups of any damage.

This is a bargain when you price up the kit. £500+ Leather interior, £150 votex console, £100+ G60 arches and the shell is silly stupid compared to the other Golf i have which has holes everywhere haha

oh and the blue rear lights are being replaced with tinted 16v ones.

More pics: Front splitter was taken off for MOT, will be on the car when sold, rear lights will be changed for standard ones.
