What Car?

Featured Replies

I'm looking to buy a new car in June. I currently have a 1.0 6n2 which has been my first car, i will be 20 in June and its time to move on. I'm looking at a 1.4 80hp 2007 Golf, or a 1.4 2008 Vaxhall corsa. Or Possibly a 1.4 Polo 2008 match.

The Corsa looks better in my opinion, but which one shall i go for? My budget it £6000 and i can get slightly more for my money with the corsa. But the name Vaxhall doesnt really do it for me.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

Thanks

Tom

Thought of a polo tdi PD130?

^He'd probably need another 6k to get himself insured for those

Try each one of them out and see which YOU like.

There is a reason why those cars are 'cheap': because running them costs a fortune and not just in petrol.

Get a 9n3!

£6k on a corsa? Dont let the browser hit you on the way out.

In all seriousness, nearing 20 myself i just cant understand the logic of spending 6 grand on a car thats going to depreciate rapidly and wont deliver much smiles to the gallon. live life, get a scooby wrap it round a tree and then repeat til youve run out of money.

80 horse power Golf? I'd rather walk...probably be faster too...

Now I'm not suggesting you go get something silly but surely you could spend the money on something a little more interesting and have some change left over.

Fiesta Zetec S...Suzuki Swift Sport...Fabia VRs...list goes on and on...

find yourself a polo 9n3 GTi, 1.8t power... or get a 9n3 PD diesel, plenty of tuning power and a good investment! stay clear of corsas, dont hold there value, oh and every chav wants one!
