i see the rallye yellow and comet blue thread, but what about terra brown! its the rarest vw colour i have come across!

its a standard colour only available to the US from what i can gather so i dont know why my mk2 loon came out of the factory with it and i know its not an import!

it would be interesting to see if anymore come out of the woodwork :)

i thought so too but it was built in 87 and then not even registered until october 1990!

The brown was available for the 1985, I have a catalog to demonstrate it :-)

manufactured in 87 but not registered until 90...

In all this time and another still hasnt turned up! I came across a couple in gloss brown but non in the same metallic terra brown!

Can you post up a pic? My loon is an 84, metallic brown but no idea of the colour code, only ever seen 1 other in the same colour, was a breadvan also an 84 with almost identical reg number to my Boris!

Nah definetly not the same, seen the colour before, has more of a maroon tone to it :) mines more of a darker grey metallic brown
