a lot of work that its really not worth it.. will cost thousands if you have to pay for someone to do it and at the end of the day it will make a crap RWD car.

Best of selling it and getting a RWD car out of the box as there are quite a few out there for cheap money

Volvo 360 ftw!

Yeah the saloon would be sickkkkk RWD . id have to go for a e30 or jap look on it tho . like mirrors on bonnets aha

Even better a RWD Caddy . :p

How about awd? I've got the full running gear off a late plate tt quattro if you fancy a proper project

Dam beat me to it

Any one that says the cost would outweight the frill factor obviously didn't see that thing donutting its arse off all over the handling course :unibrow:

you wanna make a 5 door 6n, rear wheel drive. ace

My polo was going to have a 4WD conversion done, had everything ready to do it. Then I woke up one morning and realised its a shitty Polo.

Don't do it, get a proper RWD motor.

Thats the point, it couldnt be used as well as a 4x4 and no weight over the arse end would just be gash to get a nice drift. I cant see it being very good personally anyway.

4wd is for fags

I remember seeing an all wheel drive mini once, this was achieved with two engines/transmissions. Only saw it from a distance, so no idea at all how the driver coped with it, or what it must have cost.

Its just a thought!!!

Go get a beetle and do a subaru conversion, RWD and enough power to cream most things on the road

lmao guy . fuck knoes what there called..:p

Swear it was a kangaroo with duck billed blatapus injection ..

Think you meant ute mate :-D

Haha . yeah thats the badger ..

That picture of the Emu shit me up as it didnt load so i clicked it and turned to talk to my tutor at college then turned back round and it was full size lmao !!

Champion John Cooper was injured in his own 'twini' in the '60s and his mate Ogle died in an Ogle-bodied twini on the way to Silverstone. Despite the issue with these first cars tying themselves in a knot when pushed through the twisties, John Cooper said he still believed the twin engine'd mini (twini as it was known) was viable - yet never went on to develop the car further.

I'm Saw a mini once.

Ok I'll continue, I think it had a 2.0 16v vaux engine. Well one in the front and one in the back &

4wd lol

Just get a p100? Rwd out of the box, a v6 goes straight in, and a v8's not hard either. Other benefit is you can get lsd's and lockers off the shelf.

i recon a bike engine covnersion like you get for the minis would be the easiest option, plenty room under the back of a polo when you remove the fueltank a d spare wheel well, aslo you could do some major surjory and incorporate a 4x4 cars floor pan/running gear into it, subaru justy etc
