yea its an OEM part so the only place you'll get it is from VW, even if an indipendant company could supply you one they'd be getting it from VW anyway, try a local bodyshop and see if they can get you it cheaper as most bodyshops get some form of discount from main dealer that you wont get over the counter, they might do you a deal if you have it painted and fitted with them? either that or try find one 2nd hand but you'll prob have more chance of finding baby jesus walking on water pissed out of his face on some wine hes just magic'd up
