I've got a seat Ibiza 1.4 8v lump same as the 1.4 8v mk4 lump (i believe) I've been told to re-build my engine cos of a lot of mileage in process i was debating doing the turbo conversion for 500 pounds believe or not but then got told might as well just put CBR 600 carbs on instead and get some one to make a inlet manifold as well as all the other stuff for just over 200 pounds as well as GT 1.3 cam + shaft and running a manual FPR and scrapping the ECU for another ECU or some electronic computer that manages your revs to match the carbs but really confused when some one else said to take the 1.4 head off and replace this with the 1.6 head for more BHP??

If you think you can turbo it for £500 why would you even consider fitting bike carbs?
