Hi everyone!

I am pretty new to this club polo forum, but it looks pretty sweet. I bought my mk8 polo last week and will be picking it up in 2 days (Saturday)

I went 17 10 days ago so I still have my driving test to pass. I currently work at Swissvax Care Care UK which by the name is a car care company! It's a great product so once I pick my polo up it will be coming home to have a good wash and see how she scrubs up.

In the near future I am looking to lower it and put some nice wheels on. The glass is tinted and the car is silver so I am looking for some black wheels to really show off the contrast of silver and black. Noticed a few vinyl wrapping of vw badges, grills, fog lamps etc so looking forward to this weekend :-)

I will post some pics once it arrives :-)

Meanwhile I thought it would be cool if everyone with a mk8 polo posted pics of their pride & joy on here, as I know there is a lot of them about but no one seems to take notice of them yet as they are new - well all is about to change!!

Nice car mate! Don't know what it is but I love the silver! I shall take your advice and try get it lowered first. Just insurance is a big thing for me :\ Getting quotes for £6k but just managing to lower it. I will have to take my modding slowly but keeping it clean doesnt affect insurance haha :p What do you think lowering it and new wheels would add on to my insurance? *Waits for cringing answer*

I've just got my first car, a 6n with coilovers, alloys, exhaust, front upper strut brace, changed seats, vinyl wrap and all my audio declared and I'm only looking at £2400 n I'm only 21 :p

But if your lookign at 6k now youll be looking around £6.5-7k :/

1st Central won't even insure me. I know it's something of a thread hijack, but I'm sick to death of being discriminated against because I'm a young male who lives in the north. Nobody will insure me on a 6R Polo, so here's a quote I just did today for an 8 valve 1.4 6N2.

Wow that insurance is high! I have got mine insured! I passed my test today with no minors , pick the car up tomorrow so will post some pics then :-) keep watching guys
