Just bought a cup/coin holder off Craig L on here ,, but I'm having real trouble fitting it !!

Can not get to the back two screws properly! Any way of doing this easily or what ? or do i have to some how take my whole centre console out ?

My 1l E just has a blanking plate , i thought this would be an easy fit , but i cant get the blanking plate out :( Any one else done this ?

have you took the trim of that runs along underneath the coin holder?

Yeah i have undone that from the left side ( inside the glove box) and pulled it back , but still cant get to the screws properly .. i cant get the screw driver at the right angle to get to left screw n cant see right screw as haven't figured out how to take bit of trim off , still held in on right hand side...

Yeah, you need to take all of the plastic bits off under the steering coloum to allow you to get that plastic bit off under where the cup holder would go.

Start from the very right and work your way in till you can get that bit off.

It seriously takes like 20 minutes max to do!!!

ahhh cheers ,, so it can be done by just taking that one plastic trim off? thought i was going to have to take my centre console out, cheers !

i still couldnt get to that bolt properly just using my multi screw driver, is it best to use a ratchet or something ?

It's best to use a tor-x bit. I used a set of tor-x 't-bars'.

You could use a tor-x socket thought.
