Hi all need some help to get bait more power out of the get! What good and was not pls tell all :-)

Looks sweet dude, super clean!

Get the head re-worked. Check out TAVs build, he's been getting some good gasflow work done!

Couple it to a 268 or 272 degree camshaft. Vernier pulley a decent exhaust manifold and system, a chip/re-map from the PPP boys and some rolling road time and you should be singing along quite happily!

Or if you like burning fuel for fun fit some twin 40's!

Dbilas make inlets and can be bought through Regal. I have a VW motorsport one tucked away with my mk2 project, these seem fairly scarce though. As for loom, i'd personally bin the mk3 engine loom in favour of a mk2 polo loom. Or buy a spare mk3 loom and get gashing!

Hey all little it of work dun last night 7mm spacers on the back looks so much better! 😁

Indeed, still not enough to equal it though. They need at least 12mm to look equal. Who's is the mk1 in the background? Looks well.

I may go biger! 7 each side total 14mm!

The gray caddy is my m8s

And the red mk1 is a m8s again I'm doing nut bolt rebuild 20vT

Sweet, I'm only down near Diss, would be good to meet up sometime. You ever get to the dubgeneration meets?

I was meaning 12mm each side, totalling 24mm ;)

Inlets a keeper I'm afraid. Its been port-matched to a cyliderhead and gasflowed for my DHLA build, that might happen one day!

G40's have temporarily taken-over my life

My mate got one from Dbilas. He asked Randalls to remove as much material as possible when porting and he managed to nick a hole in it when tightening the nuts (which are a mission even on the VW motorsport inlets). So not sure whether this was due to poor design from Dbilas? I should imagine it's more down to excessive port enlarging.

Looks half the car on the BBS splits than it did on the RA's. Call me boring or miserable, but to me, it just does.

Very nice car nonetheless.

Not a fan of the ra's

And love the rm's looks so much better when you see it pics are not all that!! :-)

this car is gonna worth a mint soon

do not do anything to it

maintain it exactly how it is

maybe spacers/new wheels etc. but they can be easily removed if you come to sell it again

lol ^ pshh

looks nice man! any more plans?

:?

Clearly someone doesn't know about the true value of a good car when they one...

With only 377 registered left in Great Britain , I'd consider an original, '94 Polo GT a rare car; so why ruin a car that is not seen that often, especially if it's dead original and with genuine low milage on the clocks

Before the thread gets jacked... I'll agree that this is one of the best examples of a true GT coupé that I've ever seen

Congrats on the purchase

And like the others have said, a G40 daily word be a laugh haha :D
