and??

what kind of advice are you after? its simple...you undo the plugs and as you do...you can use masking tape and a marker to label each connector or take photos...the loom goes through the scuttle to the ECU and enters the car through the hole in the bulkhead...you will have to remove a fair bit of dash underside to gain access to the loom as its cable tied to the inside of the dash and is a bit of a pig to remove...you need two pairs of hands at this point- one to feed each connector through the hole in the bulkhead and another pulling them through...

Fitting is reverse of removal...not much to it to be honest...

May seem daft but is the dimmer turned down?

Have you checked the fuses and the bulbs? Also the light switch could be faulty and you may have an earth point not connected.

cheers guys gunna go av a go now :)

It is too late in this case, but my method is to cut the old cables off near to the connections, get the new loom into position and then use the 'stub' cables to identify the position for the new ones.

It wont let me upload the pic but it got 2 red cables and one of them I can't find were it goes and when I connect the battery I got no ignition lights all tht happens is my petrol gauge just flickers ?????

I'm pretty sure it's for the air con. Try an upload the pic again as I could be wrong.

Its relay 53 ??? Theres a thick red wire tht i cant find a home for :( but with no key in ignition when i connect battery the fuel gauge just flickers feel free to contact me 07580311425 getting to the stage were i give up an srap it lol

Is this an early 6n or a later one. Ie newer style clocks or older style?

If it an early car then on mine that relay connects to the top right of the fusebox, third pin along.

If its a later one then maybe some in here can help?
