Who's was the red mk2 GT that made 105? Didn't look good when it was struggling to spin the rollers. Was that some thing to do with the straps being too tight?

i thought it was 74 ish without boost

it was 74 with absolutly no boost and the drag of the charger re run it after sorting the hose and pulled 134 and 140ftlb torque still wasnt what i hoped for but better than 74lol and please get your facts straight before posting figures

one run was 48 I'm sure, may have been at wheels though! Not that it matters anyway lol

no not really guess i wasnt the only one that was a little suprised at what i got still got to do a little investigating as i was hopeing for 150 think theres a small problem somewhere. Cant be too drastic if it made 74 with no boost.Only did 2 runs so maybe that was at the wheels on the 1st run.

Best thing for me was it did the 194 mile round trip and didnt miss a beat which is pretty good as i havnt been out of oxfordshire in the last year of it being on the road and done less than 2k most of which has been running in 2 bloody chargers

Yeah I can't remember what mods you have? Chip, front mount, pulley...is it cammed too or?

Nah gonna do some heavy investigating into the engine itself, compression tests, cylinder leak tests, borascope etc.

Had a little look over today and swung the cam a lot, I mean like over a tooth and to be honest that should have moved the power up and it was shit lol.

Moved it back half way now, so it's retarded around half a tooth and it's a smidge better, have knocked the timing back a few degrees too as plugs looked a little like pre det but mixture is rich if anything...hoping to find something up anyway!

100bhp standard ftw although if maybe higgo or someone can help me dig out the thread there was a lad called matt with a dragon green 6N years and years ago who got 100bhp from a 1.6 just changing inlet and fueling and some other things, need to find that
