Just bought this but diesel just isnt doing it for me!

Not really in a hurry to get rid but its worth sticking up!

Its a 1.9D converted to a 1.9tdi out of a later mk3, engine code 1Z i beleive.

Engine mileage is roughly 87k and shell has 130k.

MOT till dec 2012 and tax till June.

No service history sadly as i was never given any when i bought the car.

Bodywork:

Very clean for its age, no rust and barely any marks.

Only noticable mark is on the bonnet and even that you have to look closely.

Interior:

Full GTI seats

Black doorcards

Electric windows

Automatic lights and wipers

Boost + exhaust gas temp gauges

Kenwood headunit linked up to a JBL double sub with 6cd changer in boot

Sunroof

Engine:

1.9TDI 1z conversion out of a 1995 golf

Tuning box, unknown make

Adjustable boost thingy....

Exterior + Modifications:

Morrette style headlights, linked up to the auto system.

Xenon headlights

Badgless grill but will come with a badged one too

CL splitter

Vr6 rear lights

Coilovers all round

GTI alloys with 4 good tyres, 2 vredsteins and 2 budgets

GTI arch kit

Previous owner fitted ABS and power steering.

Also has vr6 brakes all round.

All i can think of at the moment, as i said above it has no service history but you can tell by the way it drives its been looked after, no knocks or unusual noises, was bought from a dealer.

Its quick for what it is, it boosts about 12-13psi and acheives great MPG :)

Looking for a swap really as i dont have another car as my polo is for sale too, dont know what but petrol!

It has an aftermarket remote locking/alarm/immobiliser thingy. I think thats it. The interior is 99% mint, no shredded seats like most e30s, it did have a tow bar, which I used to tow a large trailer with last weekend, but I took it off (cuz it looked awful with it imo) as soon as I'd finished. Even though I'm not a massive auto fan (I have a mk1 golf cabby as a summer car) I wanted something easy to drive, and its fulfilled that purpose brilliantly, in fact I've had a lot of cars, and nothing has ever been as smooth and easy to drive as this, unless your hooning around like a bank robber/pimp then you don't even notice it change gear!

It is, its got loads of little things such as added ABS and auto lights etc which the previous owner must have spent a fair bit of money and time on.

Just a shame I'm a typical 19 year old and diesel just isnt the same!
