Ok so just orderd the thermostat from autosupplies they said the housing is a dealer part but he said the thermostat comes in a plastic housing anyway is this the housing i need? Anyway came to 9.60 for that and the seal

anyone know if you can buy the seal around the rear vw badge on its own?? as mines had it :/ not much to update on te polo ordered some german plates yesterday and will get 16v bumpers off ashi next weekend :)

Why not just get a whole new badge from a breakers yard.

Or smooth it off like I did.

its really tempting to just smooth it off and rattle can it until i can get it in at work for its respray that might be next weekends job :)

ok lil question is there ment to be seal where my finger is on the picture below? were next to the temp sensor it bolts into the head, as even when its tight coolent pours out of it

any help would be very appriciatedalso on how to change thermostat aswell

ok got my 16v bumpers off ashi today :) rear one is grey and will be getting sprayed at work hopefully next weekend so ill fit it then and i should be fitting the front one tommorow :)

also i got the old thermostat housing out today will put the new one in tommorow as was getting dark when i got it out :)

I'm going to have to get new ones cos old ons are going to have to be drilled out :/ oh and had to order a new water pipe that goes to water pump as mine has got some damage and water is leaking out of it :(

i am spraying the new rear valver bumper at work tomorow so will get pictures up when they are on :) cant wait
