Well unfortunately I have only just realised this isn't a mk2 golf GTI, so its for sale so I can get one. I can't resist one everytime I drive something else (other than my mk1 cab), probably because I'm an isiot, this thing is awesome in every way. Its smooth, reliable, easy to drive, goes pretty well for a big barge, and these straight 6's sound amazing.

Anyways its passed its early MOT today, so is tested till Feb 18th 2013! The tester commented on how good a condition its in compared to most, and with only 86k on it most of the underneath is original. Its also just been taxed for six months. Heres the good stuff...

Low mileage with loads of history to prove

Electric mirrors and windows (passenger mirror doesnt work)

Sunroof

Retro blue velour interior in excellent condition

Car is a light blue metallic

Bottletop alloys with all good tyres (although the MOT says all tyres are low ???)

Sigma remote locking and alarm (doesn't operate rear doors, and since its been really cold the locking has been temperamental, so I use the key in the door)

Autobox is silky smooth and kicks down well, sometimes it will drop 2 cogs then surges forward with great force

Chipped ECU

Tow bar has just been removed but can be included

Bodywork is in excellent condition, only things to note are a small amount of surface rust about 3" long on the lip of one rear arch, and the paint below the rear tow eye has bubbled.

Heres a few pics, sorry they aren't brilliant and the car is filthy (its far too cold to be out polishing it), I'l try and get it cleaned tomorrow if we're not snowed in haha

I'd like £750ono which I think is fair, I've seen some right dogs out there with double the miles and in much worse condition for around a grand Or I'l swap with a taxed and tested mk2 golf GTI, or a really nice driver.
