Just went to fill up and BAM! cant open petrol cap its seems locked.

Never done it before dont think its froze because it seems warmer than usual.

If anyone knows the problem what can be done?

Do you have central locking? Is it the flap which won't open?

pour a bit of warm water on it and try again, my wifes lock seized, she thought the catch had brocken because door wouldnt close (catch wouldnt grab), bit of warm water to un freeze and it was fine

would warm water not freeze again?

if you have central locking it is possible the pump has failed due to the moisture in the air. might be able to save it with silica gel packs like i did or its a new pump.

dont put any form of water on , it will just freeze and make it worse try wd40

Yeah sorry I meant flap, I have central locking or should I say had central looking until it broke. In the doors anywayy but I've been able to fill up before.

If you undo the trim in the boot you should see the actuator for the flap, you can then pull the operating rod to release the flap

Yeah, do what nige said, that what I was gonna say once you'd confirmed was the flap

Mine did it when the central locking went on mine i just pulled it hard then it opend the pushed the pin back in

yeah pullled the pin all the way out now
