Are you really going to get all that audio install? Why spend about 8 grand on all that stuff (if not more) on a install for a 6n? Why not spend it on a better car?

I actually quite like the car, for a 6n. But i'm really not into the mega ICE thing. Although i would be interested to see how its all going to fit in that little car! If i wanted big ICE, i'd want a bigger car though. I wouldnt spend that much on an install. I'd rather do a mad engine conversion. Something along the lines of a mid mounted R32 Bi turbo and rear wheel drive

the fun is in trying to fit it into the small car. my subaru is pretty standard just decat turbo back exhaust, dump valve, 550cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump, apexi ecu

so i have a fast car so want something that will pull a massive crowd at a show. and larger cars are shit for audio as the cabin volume to pressurise is larger so the SPL readings arent as great. method in the madness. people expect the audio in larger cars so if i can showhorn it into the polo and get it playing how i want. it will be insane.

I've been told by a few people I'm the lowest static 6n in the UK at the moment but I have never been like "oh yeah obviously" I always say I don't think I am and that this person or this person are probably lower than me. No need for even more big headedness in a scene already full of people who won't talk to others becaus there car isn't low.

If you want to do a massive audio install in a polo 6n that's up to you just don't make all these claims that your car will draw all the attention at shows and have crowds around it because you will just be let down when this doesn't happen.

And if I were you I wouldn't set a thread up on edition 38 as all you will get is what you have got in this thread (words of advice)

I'm a member of team ice mate and working with ian iceman pinder who is a very good friend of mine. tuning to 31hz and using audison bit one and an audiocontrol epicentre concert series...all panels are gonna have 3layers of dynamat extreme before mdf expanding foam and fiberglass...having a double laminate screen made like ians van has. bass edd is also a very good friend and look at hes A3 and I'm going bigger then that and hes doing 157db at 16krms I'm running more cone area more power and slightly higher tuning but i will be happy for 157 - 158db remember life begins at 150db - team ice motto

Personally i'd do it in something other than a polo, but thats your choice not mine. Is yours ONLY going to be tuned to 31HZ, or will you be using a variety of different HZ boxes? Because presumably you'd want to pick up the high's aswell as the low's? Also, will you be building the boxes yourself or will Ian/Edd be helping you? I now have faith, now you've mentioned you're good friends with them, but i shan't speak to soon. Get a project thread up so i can keep up to date with it.
