6n to 6n2 bumpers

Featured Replies

What's involved with fitting the face lift bumpers to the 6n?

Is it a simple case of them swapping straight over, or do they not fit?

Any help would be nice thanks

I was told the don't fit! Would like to do this myself

Front is like wings, bonnet, head lights, slam pannel too I think.

Don't think rear will fit

If you just wanta keep it a 6n with just 6n2 bumpers read the below

Cut top half of the 6n2 front bumper and then remove the metal part of the 6n bumper and trim the plastic of the 6n2 to the desired height the grined the 2 top edges of each bumper front and back then over lap the 2 bumpers then grined the edge of the over lap to a 45 degree then you can then you can ethier plastic weld it but if you don't want a plastic weld you can put counter sink screws in then fibreglass it

Then repeat the same of the back that was a quick run throw of what's involed

Nice one. Looks really nice like that.

as above you can get a hybrid bumper made with the top half of a 6n bumper and lower 65n2 bumper

front end would need, bonnet, wings, front panel, headlights, bumper, water bottle, wiring and t2 weld in sections to attach the front panel straight so it aligns properly

rear bumper would need to be a hybrid bumper like mine
