hi I'm james and this is my mk3 breadvan!

this isnt quite how it is now but i will now show you the treatment mt poor polo has been through.

this is how it started!

this is once i had cut the springs, while cutting the springs i also stickerbombed the doorshuts and tail gate shut

also did the grill

then test fitted some minilight deep dish wheels

but decided to get myself some bbs ra's

at this point i also replaced the cut springs with 60/70 lowering springs.

then went to the retro rides beach meet with some friends.

this was on the way!

then on the beach!

once we got home

then during a bull day at college my tutor told me to paint my bonnet, so i did!

then i replaced the bbs ra's with some lovely pink steelies!!

then i attached a splitter!

then after what must have been a slight mid teenage crisis i decided that white was way to boring and painted my car BROWN!

finished!!

then painted the pink wheels white!

slamming world sticker! cant find this online!!

with the wheels back on!

this is how that car stayed for about 2 months then just yesterday at college i did this to my bonnet!

and a friend in college used is awesome artistic abilities to do some cool as designs

and that is it. that is how my cars is at this moment, so feel free to let me know what you think and i am up for any suggestions on how i can change it some more!!

Rollerd paint ftw did my mates mk1 fezza it came out with a texture and looked sweet :)

took about 25 mins to paint was pretty quick but it does have a textured finish but i quite like it, i think the car look lots better in brown. just not sure what to do with it next i recon i will sell it in the summer get a 6n.

took me about 25 mins to paint it but obviously the prep work took a good hour and a half to mask and key up the car, so put aside a day to do it all, the paint cast me £22 but its outdoor fence and metal paint not proper car paint. i would say no more the £50 and some elbow grease is needed.

haven't posted on here in a while. nothing has really happend apart from a roof rack and a the bonnet going nice and rusty! i want to get some 13 inch wheels but not sure yet and I'm also hoping to fit a straight through exhaust. also going to the retro rides beach meet http://retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?...1189&page=1 went last year and it was great so i will get some pics of my car and others there. feel free to come along it completely free and a good laugh so come along!!

White minilites will look cool with the brown!

And I wouldn't even think of using a paint brush and outdoor paint, can't believe you had the balls to do it.

yeah i would love some minilites if i could afford them at the moment.

yeah I'm not too sure why i did it but oh well i think it was a good call, came out quite well.

Theres '[censored strop]' and coming to the realisation your painted your car shit brown, I preffered it white :)

I'd never, ever build a car to sell though, id build it for myself. Never money to be made on modding a car, well very rarely anyway.

I did however, completely miss the selling part

I'm not changing the car coz no1 likes it I'm changing it because I am fed up of having a brown rust car. I also didn't build the car to sell it I built it because I thought it was cool now I am bored so I'm changing it. Selling it was always going to happen as it just can't keep up with what I want it to do. It's been a brilliant first car and I don't have a bad thing to say about it. I will continue to update this so you can all see the finished product as I think it's going to look great and you never know I may even keep it if I like it enough!

so, got more of the paint off now just got to mask it up and bit of prep work then its into the booth and on with the paint
