i put a striaght through and a 3 inch bore exhaust of back and if you gave it right, itll pop and gurgle. its normally due to over fuelling whoch i fuel getting into the exhaust and igniting obvs going pop

With carb rev highly then turn on and off the ignition this will give a nice pop from the exhaust

Mate does it in his mini contantly its funny driving past people and doing it, watching them turn round like a gun has gone off

I've put a custom stainless 2" bore system on mine. Seemed to do the trick. The 4-2-1 mani and decat should make it even better :)

Or you could buy a flamer kit. My mate Rhys had one in his Focus back in 2002 and got waaaaay to excited about it:

If you want it to bang and pop proper loud then you can do this mod where you put your cam in 180 degrees out, called the reverse cam mod! It alters the valve timing so that fuel gets injected straight into the exhaust and ignites, resulting in big ol flames an shit. Instead of lining up the dot on the cam sprocket with the timing mark on the belt cover, make your own tipex dot on the sprocket 180 degrees away from the original timing mark, then line it up with that on the timing cover.

I've done the 180 degree mod, made my 1.4 6n faster than a VTS!

180 degree cam and it makes the turbo spin backwards too for extra effect.........
