Just ate heart.......

Featured Replies

So, don't know how many other people have done this but I thought I would find out!!!

Just ate some beef heart for dinner, cooked in a bottle of red wine, drank with a bottle of the same red wine.

I must say it was all right. Made me a bit wierd eating it at first but it's just like a really flavoursome steak. Really beefy flavour.

Would recommend you give it a go if you like steak.

It is cheap as, I got enough to feed four people for £1.50

I went to a pub one time, think it had a franchise thing running in it called 'Black Rock' or something like that.

They bring out a slab of granite at like 450degrees then gove you random meats to cook on it.

I had zebra, kangaroo, ostrich and gazelle.

I must say I wasn't that impressed with any of them, nothing special really but then again I had to cook them myself so that may have been the problem

I love deer (venison), try to get it as much as my wallet allows!

Dont think I could bring myself to eat that :? lol.....but have eaten Alligator in Barbados once. Tasted like a flavoursome chewy steak lol
