My Mk2F Genesis... Enjoy.

Featured Replies

never really got the chance to show you guys my car. so here's a few pics, let me know what you think.

Started completely standard. Have since added banded steels, tinted rears, clear indicators, bonnet bra, various stickers. She's had a good old polish and wax from when we bought her.

No pictures of the interior but take it from me, its immaculate. very pleased with the interior, and being a genesis its a lot better than the CL's. the seats actually have some structure to them

sorry for the shitty photo's, blame Apple.

My rear window, not to everones taste ;) ^

The plans for it next are:

  • go lower - have you seen how high it sits!?
  • pressed plates
  • lower profile tyres (when these wear, they came free ok?)
  • clear side repeaters, or delete them altogether

Personally I love the car, and for a first car she's cooler than any saxo. Sticking to the euro theme.

Thanks for reading and hope to see you at some shows in the near future, look out for me and dont be afraid to say hi

cheers everyone, thanks for the compliments I appreciate it. anyone going to run to the sun this year?

and jake what happened to yours?! and do you remember me? ;)

nice but its a mk3 aint it, mk2s had the twin round head lights like the mk2 golf, some rare mk2s had square lights but mk2s had diff rear lights and boot, mk3 window is glued to upper boot, mk2 had window sealed in as steel frame all round window.

It's a MK2f, not a MK2..

What the guy above me said.

Youre right about the mk2 having rounded lights but in 1990 it was given a facelift to this model. It's still an 86c however. Volkswagen states that it's a mk2f and that a mk3 is actually a 6n but there's been a huge debate about this. Personally I like to call it a mk3 but what you call your own car I up to you, call it jim if you want to.

call it jim if you want to.

Then Jim it shall be.
