Thanks a lot eBay!

Featured Replies

So there I was bored at work and casually checking Facebook and eBay when I stumbled across a set of porsche 944 seats in brown. Perfect for my car I thought and as there was no reserve and no bids I'll watch it, thinking I'll put a bid in at the last minute. But my phone had different plans. When I realised my phone didn't notify me of the bidding ending I realised that the seats had gone for a measly £5.50!!!!

Thanks iPhone 4s, that's technology for you...

Savage!

Yeah my iPhone 4s is faultless until I actually need to rely on it lol

Not iphone but on my xperia I'm always having problems with the ebay app not working properly.

possibly the same on all platforms?

Always say theres no network connection, when clearly there is, ad it was fine a second ago.

Have to delete then re-install the app to fix it.

What happened there is your iPhone didn't like your taste so made you miss the last second bidding... :-p

Why not auto bid? Waiting for the last minute is pointless and risky.

Since the '90s i always had the best phone out, until about three years ago when i got a Nokia N86 8MP. Since then it's all gone touch screen and toy-town with very little choice. Before this was an N95 and before that was the terrible original iphone i hated and swapped for the N95. I really don't like what's happened to phones, i've re-shelled my N86 twice and it now has a new battery, keypad and camera lens to keep it mint.

It won't last forever, i needed Nokiia to bring out something great but they've fucked up with the troublesome N8 and that new thing is bloody Windows Mobile :retard:

This is what I'm trying to tell myself, maybe it was for the best haha

Last minute bidding works well. I just set an alarm on my phone and do it that way.

yeti knows the score!

I just won some porsche centre caps for a couple of quid, genuine too, ebay app works fine for me! haha.

GRRR!

Was just bidding on something, got outbid, clicked to open the app with a minute left and it said error and I had to log in again, by this point the auction had ended!

Glad it fcked up. Won another auction for same thing for half the price

Mine works fine too. even alerts me when I'm outbid or an auctions ending on a Samsung galaxy s 2.

Could be worse - you could have sold a bunch of stuff recently.

Balance in PayPal, eBay for Android and a phone signal in the pub...

Err, hey dad, mind if we park a car at your house for a while?
