Seriously dude, reconsider what your doing here, surely buying the c1 and insuring it will be more than just insuring your polo you already have. Ring around, add a driver to the policy, I reckin you will be okay.

Fuck old people I've had incidents with one myself.

id rather mot fuck old people, but each to their own and all that

Like I said in the PM buy a Mini City 900cc!

I did the exact same thing to a corsa b. Pensioners love not indicating what they're doing to other road users.

Could be new hope :) matts pm has made me want a mini now haha :)

It doesnt really matter what she was doing, you should always be driving to the conditions of the road. (ie. Kid running into the road ect.)

If you rear ended her while braking your distance from the car wasnt enough or your vehicle wasnt road worthy.

I'm not having ago at you, just pointing to the others it was always going to be you who paid out.

Have you tried go compare?, it may give you a random cheap quote that you can buy online.

Yeah Matt I know it was my fault that's why I'm not really going to police ect.. As at the end of the

Day I rear ended her, and yeah I went on go compare mate all seems to be £8000+ for any car

Man thats rediculas..... I can honestly say id be gutted

How does insurance on a moped cross over to affect your car insurance?

When I had a moped for a year, no car insurance company would give me a years no claims bonus so why the f*ck should they be allowed to pick and choose what bits of info they use!?

Insurance company with double standards me thinks.

How about a no win no fee personal injury case?

Because your leg was fucked up after the accident.

Then when it turns out in court that it was not your fault, you can go to the insurers with the result.

Or at least say you were in an accident that was not your fault.

I don't see that you have anything to lose doing that.

Fucking geeks!! Why do some people feel the need to do everything "by the book" and always go through insurance. They've got no idea at all what implications it's had for you and your insurance I bet!!

I've been sitting about getting depressed since last night cos a MK4 Golf GTi 2.0 115bhp would cost me £1200 to insure fully comp, and that's group 21 insurance on the new scale!!

Anyway, I hope you manage to get something sorted mate so you CAN drive. Insurance is a complete joke and for insurance quotes to be so high for such a minor minor incident is so wrong!!

I have had so many near misses with the old bastards of today! They feed off young peoples misery I'm telling you..

I AM a careful driver too! even stick to speed limits :)

Phone Sainsburys car insurance, I'm paying £1800 a year fully comp on a 1.3 bready with 3 points. 20 years old. Just make sure you phone em, they give a better price :)

The best of luck either way dude, you'll get on the road somehow :)

I'd make sure you were asking for TPF&T insurance and fully comp! Sometimes it's not much different on fully comp so you might as well have it, but you might find with some TPF&T is a lot cheaper from some.

haeahehahea :)

...with 3 points...

Epic.

In some cases fully comp might actually work out cheaper than TP or TPF&T so it's worth trying all three although fully comp is more desirable of course.

fully comp is ALOT cheaper for me, no matter what company it seems!

It was the op's fault he hit her, she didnt reverse in to him.

Not having a go either dude, been in a Simirlar situation my self thought I had enough room, old guy slams on and I end up wedged under an rx8 bumper.

On the positive side at least your not seriously injured, I reccomend admiral for insurance seems to be cheaper if you leave it on the drive instead of a garage and adding your granny or any other old codger brings it down a bit.

may aswell just keep the polo, and try getting it in like grandparents names, or parents, and do it that way. much less hassle then going out and buying a shitroen ;)

ohh and i haven't owned a polo for about 6 months and i still come on here cos i find that its the best forum :)

That's insurance fronting, never do it.
