Okay I really need a water pipe that goes from underneath the pancake air filter and through past the head then splits into two extra pipes one going into the manifold or something and the other goes into the engine. Anyone know where I can find this pipe? thanks a lot

It has a bit of metal pipe inside the rubber yeah, but its not fully metal

Nah I don't think its a breather, it leaks water everywhere through the split, and it's a 1.3 8v

If it connects to the pancake, it cant be a water hose. Do you have a picture of your broken one?

It doesn't connect to the panacke just runs past it and then underneath it, it's a 1985/6 Polo Ranger 1.3

does it go to the carb on the left hand side?

if it does it might be the autochoke.

your best bet is to take a pic mate.

i have a few spares but will need to know part no. or what it looks like

sounds like the one for the carb autochoke or the heated manifold.

I can't get a pic atm I'm at uni and my cars at home, its like there's a pipe at the back right hand side of the engine, which then splits into two and one goes further back the other runs along the back of the engine and up somewhere behind the pancake filter
