They're a full set (front and rear) 60/40, made by TA technix. Covered around 500 miles. 200 miles on Borednow's Derby and 300 miles on my Coupe S. £40, and I'm on your door step too .

Dya think they'd bugger standard dampers pretty quickly? Just need to source them :)

With 40mm on the rear, you should be alright with standard dampers. 60mm however, you'll need uprated dampers to cope.

If you're having them this week for definite you can have them for £35 collected, but I cant go any lower as they're already a bargain as is!

I'll have em tonight?, I'll stick the 40's on the front for the time being as thats what looks the worst (highest) atm. Then get some dampers when I can afford..

How easy a job is it to change the springs?

I'm afraid you wont be able to fit the 40mm on the front, as the springs are different between the front and rear.

The fronts are the short, fat springs pictured in this thread: Click!

As for changing them, its not too bad a job, as long as all the nuts and bolts play ball. You'll need spring compressors and a ball joint splitter, and soak everything in WD40 daily for a week before you're planning on lowering the car.

It took me 3 hours last weekend to change shocks and springs on my Mark2, but it had all been apart previously and I had access to ramps and air tools!

60 will probably need new dampers but it will be fine temporarily on standards, they dont destroy them that quickly.

Yeah how odd!

Got the springs now!, having some gearbox issues, so dampers on hold! :(

I have rear TA Technix adjustable dampers. You'll need a pair of spring seats but cheap enough to come by on here. PM me if interested.
