Cheap little GT that. Shame the previous owner spoiled it. I've wanted an off centre number plate recess for ages, as it would go great with my off centre grille badge. Just something i've never got round too. If i did it i'd want to keep the textured look though. Should look great when done :-)

nothing a bit of paint cant fix. potential is there. good find! how are you going about relocating the recess? plastic welding or fibreglass?

Number 5  , really? What have you had???

Id give it a few days TLC, get all the tat off it and find it a bonnet.

 really? engines prob guna need a rebuild at 153k

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm thinking rat it right up so it actually looks cool rather than tatty old balls, bit of nitromoors on the front edge of the bonnet then go drive it fast so it runs and leave it to do it magic or just slap some paint on it and drive it fast so it runs down the sides. Spot lamp on the roof tint the head lights black put some old news paper pages in random places. Paint the tyre walls white put a massive splitter on it and carpet mud flaps that touch the floor finished one tatty scrote give a new lease of life.

nice one mann i like the stance haha

I'm selling up all my car stuff lemme know if you want anyhting!

Partly joking that would be a way to make it rat if you wanted it full on rat, but the red oxide rollered on sounds pretty cool, you can get an alright finish with a roller can't you. My dad sprayed my bonnet satin black last night but the paint was real old and knackered so it had some lumps in it! But its ment to be a bit ratty.

You should tape the headlights with like a # style grid over em with thin tape, if you can't find any just slice some insulating tape by putting a Stanley blade on some coins on a flat surface and rotate the tape round cutting it to the right width evenly and easily. Or to tint them.

And mine will be on the road soon il come and show you when I'm done.
