I have a 6n 16v now, with pritty mint interior, just wondering if the gti seat are and different/better in terms of support? or are they just the same seat under the cloth?

If it's anything to go by the part numbers for the backrest foam is the same for both seats, so I'd guess the there is no differance in the support given between the two seats

Seat Ibiza GTi seats are sweet, too (mine was a '97 1.8 16v, not sure on 2.0 8v or 2.0 16v Cupra differences).
