I've stripped all the dash out of my car and I'm making a custom switch panel to the right of the steering wheel and there is nowhere to put the old light switch,

you can buy three position toggle switches OFF-ON(1)-ON(1+2) and I'm just wondering of they will pass an MOT with one instead of the original all I know is that the light switch must be secure, which it will be.

I can't see it being a problem from a MOT as long as the sidelights come on at the first position and the second position dipped beam and sidelights, you will also need a separate switch and warning light for the rear fog light
