S14's are the car to have but not for me yet! Maybe in 2years when insurance maybe abit more reasonable :) but I'm 21 with 3yrs NCB and 3yrs driving experience :)

Then it should be fine for you! goes down loads when you 21....i 21 now and can get quotes for silly cars like R32's for less than 1k.

Aye, I can insure an s14 Turbo for just a touch over a grand and I'm only 20 with 2 years no claims. I don't want one but thought it was worth getting a quote.

All noise and no go comment is stupid seeing as honda make some relatively quick cars, quicker than most VW's. A mate of mine had a B18 converted EG and that thing was silly quick for a 1.8, hes now got a H22 converted EG and thats even quicker. Personally I couldn't live with the lack of anything until about 5000rpm. I would say my Ibiza which is approx 195bhp and a 195bhp civic, my ibiza would be quicker in most circumstances as its got power low down.

i own a civic aswell as my polo, 98 prefacelift ej9 and well unless you get one that has been looked after they are a rust bucket and not worth the hassle and as said before all they are good for is screaming to 9.5k rpm imo
