What's up with the fuel line on the exhaust of the MT2?

The bit of pipe on the exhaust? Used for deflection and does make them a bit quieter and a bit more bottom end but little loss in top end speed as it lengthens the exhaust kinda, pretty minimal though.

Iv had an XTM, they're not really as popular as others but they fly!!

thinking about it isnt it something to do with with when they haven't ran for a while, if you block the exhaust and turn the engine over it sypfens fuel out the carb. so you could just pinch the hose insted of getting oil on your fingers?

Just fitted my 8000kv brushless, running an old 1400mah just 7.2v, geared down and ESC all on standard setting (0 timing, low throttle response) it ballooned the tyres that much one had a blowout virtually the first time I pressed the throttle!!

Have just fitted my foams, it's probably only doing about 45mph at the minute.

Motor settings tweaked and geared up with 3s lipo it's going to be impossible!!!

The 3s will add another 31,200 rpm LOL

Slow settings and it burst a tyre? I think that thing might kill someone if it's unlimited 31k rpm is crazy.

That's 31k extra mate. It will be 88000rpm on 11.1v

Brushless 8000kv, will be running 3 cell 11.1v lipo, however I don't think the drivetrain will take it!

Well Iv just ordered:

Orion charger (£60)

An 11.1v lipo for the buggy (£45)

11.1v lipo for the m18 (£30)

Some batt straps

Lipo bag

This costs more than modding polos hahahah

Just a quick one, how do brushless compare to normal motors, iv always been a nitro head and brushless were quite expensive when I used to fly so no one really bothered.

Oh mate they're so readily available and CHEAP now. My £180 RTR buggy pisses over my .21 nitro lol

I've had a couple of RC cars. This was my TL-01 with bora body shell:

Sold it a few years back, as i needed money for my real car. It was nothing special, apart from the paint/ wheels. It was more for posing about at VW shows than anything else

I've always been interested in RC cars, but never got properly into them. I have an original Tamiya lunchbox now. The shell is battered and has several layers of paint, but i have completely rebuilt the rest onto a NOS chassis, as old one was cracked. Its pretty mental, as it has a different motor (not sure what) in it, so will easily flip if you pull away full throttle without the wheelie bar. Its also pretty unstable in turns, hence why i've never bothered getting a better shell .

Seeing how cheap brushless motors are now, i may have to put one in it, just for a laugh!

Honesty myself and a few engineers at work are spending £100's on RC shit to play with hahaha, lad has a fucking amazing buggy, it is SO fast hHaha.

Just tried 11.1v in my buggy, it's fucking rapid, it's worn a new set of tyres out in about 10 mins. Snapped the suspension mount this time! :(

Well guys had my first flight in 5 years today, it appears electric planes don't like wind to much and Iv run out of talent :(

Managed to get most of it back and currently waiting for the glue to dry :)

Modified my m18 to take a 3 cell lipo today, it's fucking stupidly fast, hit a tiny stone and it just flips and flips and flips ha :( rear diff ruined in that also, successful day

That's another reason I stopped running mine, it seemed like every time I ran it something would break, it didn't help that the steering pulled to one side and the servo trim for the steering only made it worse.
