Right so I work at a indoor kart circuit in Banbury, it's called Formula Fast.

I think it would be quite cool to get a Club Polo karting event, maybe even championship on the go.

Depending on the amount of people interested would depend on what sort of race/event would be best.

Would anyone else be interested in this?

The karts are pretty good tbh. I used to work for Daytona (one of the biggest corporate karting companies in UK) and the karts are much better than what they had.

Costs varies for what you want. Check the website out for basic prices.

We can cater for weight differences. We can ballast the karts with up to 35kg per kart.

We have 12 karts that can be on circuit at one time.

IMO a team event would be good as it would encourage a bit of 'bonding' (for want of a better word ) between everyone on here!!!!

Obv for a team event to be good you would need at least 24 people.

Haha ballast is good, but a bit shit too as its in a fixed position :p

Do you have the cables and stuff adjusted so you get full throttle or do I have to push my foot on the cable to go faster ? Haha

Karts are completely unrestricted.

They do have a system which automatically controls the ignition during red/yellow flag situations and if heavy contact is made with the barriers or another kart.

The karts are also tested daily by a few choice drivers (all british karting champions) to ensure they are not slow in comparison to the others or have a handling issue. If they are slow they are pulled out and fixed.

The owner Phil Charles British Super One champion a few years back along with being Formula One Race Engineer for Fisi and Piquet at Renault F1 (this is why our karts are fairly well looked after!!!)

Some guy called Woody, can't remember his last name now or know if that is actually his real name , never asked tbh!! Rotax Super One champion, again a few years back.

Well I get to test occasionally but only if the other guys are unavailable (which is rare). I am however not a Super One champ but did compete for a few years!!

Go to Nutts Corner, the owner is a guy called John Eastwood. Tell him you know me and see if that will get you discount, not a guarantee but you neer know, I used to race against his son Raymie Eastwood (another S1 champ I think!!)

It's only an hour and a half tops from Ascot to Banbury...are you scared to drive that far alone or something..?

Could make a day of it. There is plenty of car parking space, it's in an industrial site so there is no speed bumps around.

Also there is a travel lodge pr something similar about 30seconds away from the circuit so if you wanted to go out for a few drinks (or have a few at the circuit) you could book a room.

considering its 2and a half hours from me ill pass but the last northern one we had was a fair decent turn out with around 25 drivers we should have two one down there and one up here somewhere

We could have regional competitions to qualify for a grand final.

The winner gets massive respect for being the best clubpolo driver in the country.

Or if everyone payed £10 to enter the winner would get all the entry fees!! That would definitely be worth it!!!!

Been to afair few kart tracks (was actually karting on sunday as my back keeps reminding me!) PFI is local to me, international circuit and a bloody hoot scraping the floor at 70mph! Karts on sunday in peterborough were electric
