Is that for racing or working??

Just to see friends lol. I'm having a chilled year this year, spent about 30 weekends away karting last year

Lucky for some, wish I still had the budget for it!!!!

Anyway shall we get this thread back on topic.

I suggest a lidt of people who would be interested in this.

Once we have a list I will be able to work out what sort of races and we could do and how much it would cost.

I wouldn't expect it to cost anywhere near £50 per person, I would spend more than that going to the pub so it's worth it IMO.

Anyother chance to meet up with people as I have never really met any of you characters......

Last time my mates went there 3 of them who race and do well got told they can't drive LOL.

depends on what karts they are to get me interested, what price are we talking per/hour? some of the karting places nowadays are just plain robbing bastards.

yeah sameee. my local in slough is fun, but cos I'm heavier i always get overtaken on the straights by my friends lol

I'd be up for it but not Banbury if it was in slough however..

It's only an hour and a half tops from Ascot to Banbury...are you scared to drive that far alone or something..?

good one....considering i dont drive :ninja:

Just out of interest what are they called and when did they come down.

Maybe they can't drive the circuit. We always have these guys who 'race' who think they can drive come down. They rarely do well as driving an indoor circuit is nothing like an outdoor.

I found it more challenging. There is no run off which gets me the worst. It is more difficult to judge the limits of the karts and circuit compared to outdoor circuits.

At the end of the day it is a social thing. I am not trying to say that you are going to come down and drive formula one cars.

I think you are looking at this the wrong way.

If you are a 'racer' and can drive (i'm not saying your not good but it's a different driving technique) then come down on a friday night for 'fast friday' and comapre yourself against the regulars (who know how to drive the circuit).

It's only £30 for unlimited karting between 1830 and 2100.

Lol it's what you're used to. Plenty of people awesome in cooperate karts who are shit in "proper" ones but works both ways lol

Exactly, the guys who are amazing around our circuit are terrible when they go to Daytona Milton Keynes for example (an outdoor circuit).

So anyway harris get yourself down so I can see if you are as good as your making out.......

  • 3 weeks later...

Tbh, you'd be lucky to get enough people together who'd actually turn up as for some its pointless driving afew hours when others dont have to go very far at all.

sure i tried to organise one on here a couple of years ago and there was bugger all interest.
