Well the VW11's came with different carriers, which stick out a load more to standard polo ones. So swapping to the normal over the G40 ones gives you a load more clearance.

The calipers themselves shouldn't stick out anymore than standard polo ones (VW1 calipers)

Yeah i just used the normal polo vw1 carriers i think the calipers where off a mk2 golf gti 8v
