Hi

i have a 2001 6n2 1.0 and want to get an induction kit fitted. Firstly where do i get the right one? and secondly could i fit it myself, I'm not a mechanic but with some guidance I'm pretty sure i could give it a go.

Its not hard to fit, just get the original airbox off and bolt the new kit on - tbh though i wouldnt waste the money on a 1.0

there only £60 or something, where abouts is the old airbox?

It's the massive black thing on top of the engine, says "1.0 MPi" on it. Theres two bolts at the front that come out, think they're 10mm. Then you take the crankcase breather off (left hand side, pipe about an inch thick) and the airbox lifts off.

It needs a fair tug, but it comes off. Also, I've got a K&N for sale!

as long as your throttle body is 50mm it will fit, i believe the1.0 and 1.4 had 50mm ones

What is the reducer silicone hose?

is it very easy to fit?

yeah just remove your airbox by undoing the two bolts and push the silicone pipe onto your throttle body

the reducer takes the pipe from 70mm on the filter i believe to 50mm to fit your throttle body
