i did have this up for sale as want to get a van but dunno tbh as its a faking cool car!! and i also got told its worth more than what i advertised it for due to the roof

Remove them and if you feel you need to have some then after you've lowerd and banged new wheels on put the low n wide one on :)

Quite like the colour! I'm also a fan of steelies to be honest.

Orange and green are not friends though so there's a mod for you lol

That colour is strange, I feel like I should dislike it but at the same time it looks like it could work really well with some smoothing and a bit of decluttering (removing bump strips ect). I've always liked the idea of the open air roof as well, I imagine it would be great on a nice warm summers day blasting through some lanes

As for the price it depends on what you were asking for it, some people see the openair roof as a negative and more often than not they tend to sell for less than equivalent solid roof 6n's. Possibly due to the cost of replacing them if they get damaged or because they make it easier to break into

are the bumstrips easy to take off?? do they have wholes in the bodywork or like sillyconed on?

and i like the colour but was thinking matt black......

Matte black open air is something I haven't seen before...

my old 106 was matt black i miss it :(

I 'think' the strips are held on with a glue like substance but I've never taken them off a 6n so not 100% sure, some one will no doubt know more about that tho

so as i said if the weather is good the bumpstrips will go..... SO THERE GONE!!!!

got one slight problem though....... what gets rid of the gluey substance? as still got some to get rid of from the polo badge haha

White spirits, petrol (any thing along those lines) plus a rag and some elbow grease. Just try it on a area that can't really be seen first incase what ever your using fucke the paint up, better safe than sorry

so off to the shops inabit i go haha!! god i love budget mods!!

Easiest thing is a tool called a 'fudge wheel' or 'toffee wheel' that goes in the end of a drill.

google/ebay it.

OR a rag and petrol and lots of effort. old bank card too.

The side of my car is fucked cause I used a fudge wheel on it to remove the pin stripping. Wouldn't recommend then at all
