VW mk2 gti 8v white 5 door

Featured Replies

Hey, here is my 1986 VW mk2 GTI 8V 5 door for sale. (k jet)

Since owning it I have fitted Avo Coilovers with dampness adjustment (£650 worth), fitted refurbished to mirror finish original VW Pirrelli P Slot alloys and centre caps with Toyo 165/60/R14 tyres(only 500 miles on them, otherwise good as new), fitted Samco lime green silicone hoses (£180 worth), fitted with later mk2 bumpers and wheel arch extenders and original tailgate spoiler.

Replaced with new genuine VW parts :

Water pump

Cambelt and tensioner

Radiator and thermostat

Plugs, leads dissy cap

Alternator

2nd silencer and exhaust back box to original spec.

When I purchased the car I was told the camshaft was a Fast Road spec (276) and rear brakes uprated to discs.

This is a rarer non sunroof model, with body work in really good condition for age. No major rot anywhere, with just minor surface corrosion in usual places. Seats and carpets as original and in very good condition. Front door cards have been messed about with to fit electric windows and speakers. The headlining is partially missing as previous owner had an ICE system fitted

The car comes with MOT until August 2012 and tax until end of July.

Any queries or to arrange a viewing in the Swindon area, please call Scott on 0789 1666 047 or email scottycars5@hotmail.com
