ok so its time to sell the golf now i have my mk3 polo back after its engine rebuild. i brought it as a bit of a run around as my mrs was finishing work pretty late n i needed to get her home safely. been a great lil car not even had it a month as of yet. runs a dream

Good points: great condition bodywork for age...pretty clean interior (has the gti rainbow interior) haq buite a bit of work done to it with in the last 6 months eg clutch exhaust mounts, oil filter, air filter , inlet gaskets , sump gaskets , engine and gearbox oil change ,Rotor arm, new near side ball joint and track rod arm and track rod end also having a new thrust bearing this weekend if i get time to do it and i have done another oil change and engine flush and plugs. clean interior and great shell with alot of potential...sony mp3 aux stereo just wired in..ALSO BRAND NEW CLUTCH GOING IN TONIGHT AS THE LAST ONE WAS A CHEAP AND NASTY ONE

Bad points: idles high when cold (but it is on carb so prob just needs setting up properly) small hole in drivers seat (pictured) one wing has been replaced due to it being dented but the new wing is a slightly different shade. left side has a slight dent on rear quarter not too bad... not alot of service history but do have a few receipts . very small crack in windscreen went through mot like it on passengers side...one of the speedo bulbs is alot darker than the other i have a bulb but it will not be fitted

ffs more bad news...ew clutch is in...but i think the gearbox is on way out as it makes as a grinding noice when dropping down gears..may be a easy fix.

really need this gone as i am not going to spend any more money on it.

This is a very clean and tidy lil golf guys. Had a look round it when Shaun first got it, and would look great with a nice drop and wheels and a great price too.
