located in egremont, west cumbria. (ca22 postcode)

not sure on the condition of the tyres, it needs to roll when it goes to scrap though. so you could only have them if you swapped for some steels with bald tyres or even bare steels

i can get pics of the front seats sorted tomorrow, and ill check the condition of the tyres tomorrow too if you want?

or if your local your welcome to come and see for yourself mate.

to everyone. I'm not available to take pictures or remove parts this weekend as I'm going away for afew days to collect my new mk1 polo, quick picture of it just because i love it. 8-)

make me an offer on them.

not sure if they will fit the front or not but i imagine they should.

the damaged parts are not required when fitting.

on the flap on the right you will see two fittings still attached, it is only in these places where they were attached to the car.

2 fittings broke and are in the bin and the two that are still attached are seized.

if it was me fitting them i wouldnt use fittings, they always seize due to terrible design. just use some nuts and bolts or self tapping screws and job done.

Hi chap, I'm after a few bits:

Grille (without badge)

Rear VW badge,

Rear wiper washer jet cover,

Also is it a 1.3? If I'll take the whole throttle body and inlet manifold set,

Would you be willing to post the lot? If so how much?

Also just to let you know I get paid on wednesday, so if its ok would you hang on to the parts till then?

Cheers,

Tom

the grill has a badge. so I'm assuming you want the standard grill with no badge?

grill + badge + rear wiper cover = £20 posted?

as for the TB and inlet manifold. I'm still not sure if I'm keeping the motor for myself and if i decide to ill probably want to keep it complete. and it is a 1.3 yes.

ill hang on to the parts only until someone pays for them. its first come first served though mate.

yes there should be one on the car, ill have to check its condition (hopefully today) and ill get back to you.

hi do you have the full exhaust system excluding the manifold? and is it in good nik? thanks.

yes, it just had new sections for its MOT, ill have to check which ones but of the top of my head its had a new backbox and middle section. not sure what the front section is like but will check (hopefully today).

Yeah front grill without the badge.

Ok I'll drop you a PM tuesday evening about the parts.

Cheers

got the exhaust checked today.

the backbox is in fantastic condition. checked the old paperwork and it was fitted for the last MOT in august, i bought it in november and its been in my garage since then so it cant have covered too many miles.

it was so smooth to come off too, just 3 knocks with a hide hammer.

pics of backbox

20120308_121823.jpg

the cat mid section was also new at the same time but its no good, must have been ripped on a speedbump or kerb (no idea).

the front section is also damaged from the same damage.

no damage to the backbox though.

id like £20 posted

also took the front grill off.

all clips are intact as pics show.

I was wondering if I could get part of the rear brake assembly. Its the straight flat bar that goes between the shoes at the top. I stupidly threw mine away, doh! I know is only small but it's the o e thing stopping me putting the rear end back together, eeeek!

No. 22 in the diagram below:
