it seems pretty good to me mate but i haven't paid it the roof that much attention. youd really have to arrange to come and see it in person and if its for you, you help cut it off as youll know how you want it cut.

Rear axle mounts and complete handbrake cable including any mounts on the rear axle, car etc. Posted please.

if the roof comes off and my mate wants one of the sills cut out (i think he does) then the car will being going on its side so thats when the rear axle may come off and i can cut the mounts out for you. as for the handbrake I'm still undecided to cut it out and keep the complete setup for my mk1 so not sure on that yet.

Thanks for that. I'm in Durham. You weren't joking when you said West Cumbria! It's just straight across the A66 though.

It's a hillclimb car that i've been on with for years (nearly 8 now!). Got it in to primer in January and the roof is a mess. To be fair it's had all sorts on top of it and the shell has been out to various fab shops, so i'm not really surprised.

yeah i should have said very west cumbria, haha. yeah a66 then a595 right to my front door.

It is that one. No updates for ages as i've struggled to move it on much and every time I do, it's two steps forward and one back; the roof being a prime example!

It's epoxy primed and in the paint shop getting ready for colour. Just needs a new roof!

I don't get time to do much posting anywhere as you can see from my post tally, but I do cruise about on here occasionally, usually when I need a bit of motivation.

the little square plastic bits for around the pins will now be lost

the door lock pins are listed on ebay but i would pull them off early.

ill check the dash speakers and tailgate trim condition and get back to you and we can go from there.

not sure on the condition of the tyres, it needs to roll when it goes to scrap though. so you could only have them if you swapped for some steels with bald tyres or even bare steels

i can get pics of the front seats sorted tomorrow, and ill check the condition of the tyres tomorrow too if you want?
