Basically my MOT is due at the end of march but I want to remove my rear seats again and sound proof it etc, I'm not intending on putting them back in either, would they fail my car? May be a stupid question but I don't know the answer so need a bit of help,

Remove the rear seatbelts and it will pass.

Not 100% but if you remove the seats & belts you might have to get the car re-classified as a two seater for the MOT, then having to declare to your insurance that the car is modified? much simpler to just get MOT done with the seats & belts in

Ah I see only reason for taking it out is I have leathers up front and tartan in the back I guess I can wait a few weeks no biggie.. Cheers for helping

nah you dont luckily, i know a few friends with stripped out cars and they never have any problems

mine passed with no rear seats but the belts still fitted
